As part of the fabrication process, McMenamin Engineering produce detailed structural drawings that provide the fabricators and erectors with unambiguous instructions, minimising the risk of errors that could lead to costly mistakes and the need to rework sections of the project.

Steel Fabrication & Welding
The McMenamin Engineering team of steel welders and fabricators, many who have been with the company since the beginning, are committed to delivering a high standard of quality and workmanship on all projects. With an extensive knowledge of all aspects of the steel fabrication process, from cutting and shaping to welding and finishing, every project is completed with great attention to detail.
With up to 5,000 m2 of workshop space, using the latest technology in steel fabrication, and a wealth of experience within the team, we are equipped to deliver a diverse range of steel fabrication projects, from 20T to 400T.
Shot Blasting & Steel Treatment
The shot blaster cleans and prepares steel for a new coating, accommodating steel up to 1.5m wide. It is typically used to clean steel beams, boxes, angles, pipes, flats, and plates. The steel is fed through the blaster using rollers and cross transfers, often in conjunction with the Drill & Saw. It also incorporates an infeed and outfeed system to facilitate materials up to 18.3m long.

Our team of experienced cladders and erectors allow McMenamin Engineering to deliver a complete package to our customers. With a wealth of experience built up over the past 30 years we have installed cladding on agricultural, commercial, industrial and residential buildings throughout the country.
Our Equipment
CNC Saw & Drill Line: 18.3m infeed and outfeed roller system. We have a capacity of UB 914x419x388 and a drilling capacity of 40mm holes in mild steel
Plasma Cutting Machine: 7m X 2.5m cutting bed, we can cut up to 30mm plate. The machine also incorporates a CNC drilling unit with a drilling capacity of up to 32mm plate and a pipe rotator that can take circular pipes of up to 300mm diameter or square hollow sections of up to 300mm.
Guillotine: Cutting capacity of 4m long X 8mm mild steel plate.
Press Brake: Capacity of 300 tonnes and material length of up to 4m long.
Welding: McMenamin Engineering embraces the latest technology in welding with pulse techniques that ensure greater precision.
Shot Blaster: Accommodates steel up to 1.5m wide. Infeed and outfeed system for materials up to 18.3m long
Overhead Cranes & Material Handling: All workshops are equipped with overhead cranes with a lifting capacity up to 20,000kg. Our material handling capabilities range from 5,000 kg to 35,000 kg.
